STAIR Constellation PACS System: Southeastern
Overread Services (SOS) uses the STAIR Systems Constellation PACS (Picture Archiving and Communications System), a
DICOM-conformant, FDA-registered software system for receiving, transmitting,
viewing and processing radiological images from DICOM-conformant modalities. As
used by SOS, Constellation contains the ability to interact with client's
servers and modalities directly via secure network connections to Constellation Servers.
Services:
Reading Services: Radiologic
interpretation is provided by ten board certified radiologists.
Exams are directed to the specific Radiologist best suited to read a
particular study. Since SOS provides services
nationally, some Radiologists are certified in states other than North Carolina
including: Connecticut, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland,
Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South
Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wyoming
Transcription:
SOS provides transcription services to all
clients. Imaging reports are transcribed, mailed, e-mailed, faxed or transmitted directly
to the client, based on services contracted.
